The university deployed the Vernier EdgeWall network access management (NAM) appliance at both the School of Medicine and at the Coral Gables campuses. The Vernier EdgeWall is the network access management appliance that enables universities to assure continuous, secure network availability on their wired and wireless networks. The Vernier EdgeWall proactively protects networks from increasingly complex malware attacks, automatically removing threats when they appear in the data path. Highly configurable, the Vernier EdgeWall continuously adapts security policy to respond to changing network conditions and to defend against evolving security threats.
