Description: |
Ardence Secure Edition was developed as part of a project with the U.S. Department of Energy (DOE), which wanted to safeguard its classified data without affecting employee productivity, or their ability to access the classified data when needed. The DOE needed to do this and at the same time meet strict National Nuclear Security Administration (NNSA) requirements and the resulting solution is the Ardence Secure Edition.Ardence Secure Edition uses a hardware device called Secure Disk On Module (SDOM) to deliver the Ardence Bootstrap versus the traditional DHCP/PXE/TFTP process. The SDOM is plugged into the hard disk IDE header on the motherboard and is programmed by the end-user organization with Bootstrap, Login Server IP, Gateway, Local Static IP of client, and per client 128-Bit Symmetrical Encryption Key before it is plugged into the client PC. When the client boots, it immediately knows where the Login Server is and communicates with the Login Server directly using 128-bit encrypted messages and data.
