By encoding an encryption key on photons on a photon-by-photon basis – and including more than one piece of information on each photon – MagiQ QPN is leveraging the laws of quantum mechanics. The result: the mere act of intercepting a photon to observe, read, copy or clone it irretrievably changes that photon, and destroys part of the encoded key, allowing intrusion detection and notification. |
